By way of example, you can check out our XM4 loadout guide, where we've used the 'Gunfighter' perk to take full advantage of all the attachment types. By default, you can choose only up to five attachments, but if you select the 'Gunfighter' perk, you will be able to choose from all eight attachment types. There are eight attachment types: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Body, Underbarrel, Magazine, Handle, and Stock.
